Message to all posting saying they have 4 gold accounts

This doesn’t work.  Before we even set a date we will need atleast 750 tags and then have to hope 250 other people show up.  The counters in the lobby need to show 1000.  As far as anyone can tell a console with 1 gold account up to 4 gold accounts only counts as one.  We need several hundred more people before we go for this.  There is no need to waste everyones day hoping we get enough people to jump on.  Not to mention several people have removed themselves from the friends list and I keep having to add the new ones, but we aren’t gaining ground.  It is fine since these people are the ones who wouldn’t have shown up on the date anyway.  Everyone please keep messaging your friends and any website that you can.  We are going to begin working with www.gameserenity.com  here shortly and that should get us some more users.

Latest update

We now have about 325-350 people who are on board.  We have been unable to get any support from x360a or a360p with getting the word out.  We were going to waiting until after the holidays anyway before another attempt but we have a lot more people we need to get before we even try.  Please everyone send out a mass message to all your friends list to try and get 1 or 2 more people.  If everyone can get 3-4 people we will have more then enough.  Have them post gamertags in the comments.

I have about 200 people so far just using this website and messaging everyone on mygamercard.net.  We are still working getting websites to help promote it.  I have a post on gamershub.org so far.  Everytime we post something on x360a they lock the thread.  If someone knows a mod there that can help us please message them or me with there info.  I am up to the letter K so I still have a ways to go on finishing mygamercard.net up.  Once we have 1000 people then we will set a date.  We know for sure that the counters have to show 1000.  Wether that is 700 people online and 300 in game doesn’t matter, those two counters need to show 1000.  So extra controllers on console won’t if they are silver or on 48 hour trial codes.  We are working on trying a gold account that is 1 month or more.  Also we are going to find out if what works when you are playing in game.  We will post updates as we get them.  Please everyone send messages to everyone on your friends list to come here and post their gamertag’s and to message everyone on their friends list.  I have a feeling this acheivement will only happen one more time if at all.  Thanks to all for the support.

Not looking good

Nuckin is doing a great job but there just doesnt seem to be a great repsonse to do another attempt.  Also my schedule has been very busy lately and I cannot put forth the same effort I did with the first attempt.  I think I will suspend this next attempt til it seems that we are guaranteed sucess.  SO AS FOR THE NEXT ATTEMPT IT IS OFFICALLY TBA!

EA’s response to closing Servers

I sent an email to EA to inquire if they were going to close the servers for NBA Live 07 any time soon and here is there reply:

“Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts

We would like to inform you that we have no immediate information about the closing of the server of NBA Live 07 on Xbox 360. If something like this will happen that will be notified on our official site www.ea.com.”

I also have an email into them to clarify the silver accounts and wether or not 4 controllers on one console works.

Looking for help with mygamercard.net

I am looking for someone to help me message everyone on mygamercard.net.  Post a comment with your live gamertag or message me on live and I will catch you up with how far I am through the list.  My live gamertag is nuckinx360afuts.  I am getting a lot of respones back from people who didn’t know about the original try as well.

Ok I have decided to try again but in two months, i am choosing a Saturday, November 22, 2008. keep it at 3pm eastern time. I however need a lot of help. I need to dole out responsibilities:

NuckinfutsX360a – he will contact ea for questions regarding the online users needed, also creating tags to help register

DJ Zibbyman – he is handling all the email stuf, make sure you register with him and he will ask questions

What I need for you users:

Someone to make an idiot proof time zone program or map or video were they click and it tells them what time to sign on

Someone to make tutorials on how to sign in to nba live with more than one controller, where to go, how to create true silver accounts

We need at least 10-15 commited to messaging

We need people to post on 360 website forums and recruit that way. Preferably one person to each site

Here is a tough one but one may try, have a big time website sponsor this event in conjunction with us

I will create the master list and keep it up to date, working with all these people that help and continue to spread the work.

If you want any of these jobs message me on live, flamarlins26 or post in the comments your live tag, your wordpress email and what job you want and i will add you as a user to the blog to help keep everyone informed

I am getting good ideas and the ideas would need a lot of help, would anyone that posted like to be an author in conjunction with me? If so I will add you but need your email if you are a user on wordpress.  Keep the ideas coming, we will make the decision and maybe get a vote going

This is great news, i need more people to coordinate etc so I will add users to both the email and blog to help with things, need a little brain trust to get this done.  So if you want to help, let me know.  We may have had issues but looks like it can be done.
